Organisation
BaSyC is governed by a Steering Committee that oversees the programme’s scientific strategy, coordination, integration of research activities, and allocation of resources. The committee represents the participating institutions and works closely with the Consortium Assembly, which brings together all the project principal investigators (PIs) to discuss the programme’s progress and strategy.
The programme’s day-to-day operations are coordinated by the Programme Manager and Support Office at Delft University of Technology. Together they oversee project management, consortium events, education initiatives, outreach activities, and communications.
BaSyC also benefits from guidance from an International Advisory Board comprising leading scientists and innovation experts from academia and industry. The board provides independent advice on scientific developments, emerging opportunities, valorisation, and public engagement.
